Mission:
To provide as comprehensive an array as possible of efficient mental health services.
Vision:
To figure prominently in the consumer-centered, mental health care delivery system envisioned for the year 2000, by providing a comprehensive continuum of services for our customers that will accommodate needs ranging from long-term hospitalization to community support and that will emphasize quality care, quality treatment, consumer choice and community education.
Philosophy/Core Values:
The Center offers an individual temporary refuge or sanctuary for purposes of respite, renewal, revitalization and return to family and friends.
The staff, the patients and the treatment combine to create a humanistically oriented therapeutic milieu.
The Centers therapeutic milieu encourages empathic understanding, mutual respect, openness, honesty, concern for the needs and respect for the rights of others and acceptance of others.
Persons who enter the Center may do so without having to sacrifice their identity, self-respect or self-esteem. They are permitted to, and are expected to, retain responsibility for themselves and for their behavior.
The Center is committed to the core values of compassion, respect, empathy, generosity, creativity, flexibility, perspective, humor, dedication, initiative, integrity and professionalism.
