Maryland Health Disparities Collaborative
 
Objective: Improve coordination and use of research and evaluation outcomes
 
Charge for the Implementation of the Maryland Health Improvement and Disparities Reduction Act of 2012:
 
  • Recommend to the Maryland Health Care Commission a standard set of measures for health plans regarding racial and ethnic variations in quality and outcomes. 
  • Recommend to the Health Services Cost Review Commission how the Commission should utilize racial and ethnic data in evaluating hospital performance and outcomes.
