The purpose of the In-Home Health Services Forum is to review existing laws for hospice, home health, residential service, nursing referral service, and nurse staffing agencies in order to develop a more appropriate regulatory structure which establishes consistent standards based on the scope of services provided by these types of programs.

The Department is convening a series of public forums to facilitate the review process. These Forums will provide interested parties and stakeholders with the opportunity to participate and assist in the evaluation of Maryland’s In-Home Health Services. There is no set membership of the Forum and meetings are open to the public. All stakeholders, interested parties, consumers and members of the public are encouraged to participate and comment on all stages of the evaluation.
