About us

Suicide is a major public health issue that touches individuals of all ages and backgrounds.  From a young person being bullied, to the elderly population, the LGBT community, and our veterans, thoughts of suicide can be experienced by anyone.  However, you are not alone.  The Maryland Crisis Hotline is available to ALL Maryland residents, regardless of age.  Call 1-800-422-0009 if you feel you are losing hope.  The Maryland Crisis Hotline is accessible 24/7, 365 days a year.  Once you reach out, you are connected to a local hotline center in your area that is able to provide you with resources where you live.  Take the opportunity to talk to someone who cares.  Again, the hotline number is 1-800-422-0009.  Life matters.  Reach out.  We’re here.”
