     Training Services Division is pleased to announce that the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between DHMH and the Maryland Community College Association for Continuing Education and Training has been renewed for FY’10.  This MOU provides funding for nursing and allied health continuing education, at a facility/agency level, coordinated by TSD and delivered by the community college in the geographic region closest to the requesting facility.  Continuing education programs have often addressed needs cited by JCAHO and/or our DHMH Health Quality Agency.

      This year we are requiring that requesting agencies open up their programs to other facilities in their region, and that one third of the attendee slots are filled by other facilities. 

      Guidelines and Instructions along with the Continuing Education Request Form are attached for your use.  Please ensure that any appropriate personnel are aware of this renewed contract agreement.
