Nurse Dispensing Course Instructions

The BPQA has ruled that a physician employed by DHMH or LHD may delegate dispensing authority to certain registered nurses who have received approved training to dispense drugs and devices in a safe and legal manner. This online training course provides that approved training.

1. Click on the link below to access our online training system:

a. https://www2.virtualtrainingassistant.com/mdhmh/

2. Click the START button

3. Enter your User ID and Password, and click on the LOGON button

4. Click on SEARCH near the top of the page

5. Use the down arrow in the Media box, and highlight online

6. In the Search Expression box, type dhmh, and click SEARCH

7. All online courses will be listed. Click on the one titled, "Nurse Dispensing"

8. Click on the Start button that appears, and begin the course lessons.
