Trainer Certification

The Trainer Certification offers a helping hand for New and Old Trainers!
New trainers face a frightening task. Usually, they’re given little or no formal instruction on how to train. It’s sink or swim. Even experienced trainers need to brush up on some basics from time to time—This 5-day training provides valuable tips and tools that can guide even the most experienced trainers.
You’ll learn how to:

• Assess training needs in order to determine what steps to take

• Identify your own style and increase your training effectiveness

• Develop an instructional plan that keeps you on track

• Use active training techniques that make learning focused and fun

• Deliver your training using the best available resources

• Evaluate your training to assess your success—and much more!

The class is open to all DHMH employees who design and deliver training as part of their job function. Class size is limited and interested people must submit an application, which includes supervisory approval.
